Students will present on a location of their choice. Presentations will include an entry in our class atlas and contributions to our class map.
Atlanta’s Attractions
A collection of reviews of Atlanta’s tourist attractions, published to major review websites. Students use the conventions of the review genre and participate in conversations beyond the classroom.
Photo Essay
Students will build a narrative of a place through photography. They will shoot, edit, curate, caption, and post photos exploring a location.
Travel Collage
Do depictions of popular travel destinations on social media sites show the whole picture? Students will create Pinterest pages to collect images a popular travel destination and write a researched report discussing how their destination is represented on social media.
