- Read this Washington Post article on how place is represented in media coverage of terrorism.
- Find a recent news article that has some interesting or significant mention of a place or places.
- Email me (sharsh@emory.edu) your article along with 3-5 sentences analyzing how place(s) are represented in your article. You must email me by 9am Friday morning to receive credit for this assignment.
- Be prepared to briefly discuss (in about 5 minutes) your article during our Flash Talk on Friday.
