Important first steps for setting up your website:
- Sign up and register your domain at https://emorydomains.org/
- Pick a domain name
- Pay $12
- Install WordPress via the C-Panel on Emory Domains
- Pick a username, login, and/or Clef
- Begin to customize your website by installing themes, menus, pages, etc
Don’t forget you can consult the Help Page for step by step instructions if you get lost. I’d encourage you to get started tonight (Monday) while the information is still fresh. Don’t worry or get frustrated if you hit a roadblock–we’ll do some troubleshooting in class.
